A burlesque dancer, a Formula 1 champ, and a diamond ring walk into a Las Vegas bar... The accidental wedding that follows might be the best mistake they ever make.
If Reese is a cinnamon roll, he's the kind with so much spice it warms on your tongue and lingers perfectly long after the last bite. Which is just right for Maiken, who is a five alarm fire in five inch stilettos that are sharp enough to puncture weaker men's egos with lethal accuracy. I would go to war beside this woman and treat the Geneva convention like a to-do list in her honor. Also, the social media posts and threads were a genius addition to the story. Absolute chef's kiss to the author for writing a fierce heroine that absolutely could stand on her own, and a hero that makes sure she never has to. Even if he's occasionally a plonker. 😂

I LOVED this love story!! Maiken (FMC) is spirited, smart and wonderfully entertaining. Reece (MMC) is the epitome of strength, discipline and control, however he falls hard and fast for Maiken after they meet in Las Vegas. A cracking story that moves at a great pace, I was quickly drawn into the F1 world, feeling right amongst it due to the easy, yet detailed description provided by this skilled author. From the fun & glamour, the WAGs (loved them!), the team dynamics & racing, to the choices our FMC & MMC face, I was gripped! Maiken is soooooo much fun and Reece is positively dreamy. Really enjoyed the appearances of both their moms (you’ll see)!! A fantastic romance I didn’t want to put down.

Drew brushed my hair back from my face with a tenderness no man had ever shown me. I just stood there staring at him, unable to come up with a response.
“Now, I’m going to kiss you, Zelda Gordon. Unless you ask me not to?” He waited, head cocked, brows arched. His fingers rested on my skin, a butterfly’s caress.
“I...don’t know what I want.”
“That’s okay. Let’s start with a kiss and go from there. You tell me to stop or go. I’ll do whatever you say.” His face drifted closer as he spoke until his breath brushed my lips when he added, “I just want to make you feel good.” He kissed me gently, lovingly. His mouth wasn’t greedy or aggressive, but it held a question:
Do you want more?
